Dull needle out the package

Has anyone had a full needle out of the package I went to go blast yesterday and the needle was full as fuck I was pushing hard and it barely broke the skin so switched needles and it went right in I was like wtf and the 16th of an inch that went in made it bleed like crazy. Has this ever happened to anyone els???

I work in healthcare and no, you should never have a needle come out of a package dull. I will typically draw blood from patients 4-10x a night for over 5 years now and never had that happen. Now I can say I've seen manufacturing defects like bent needle shafts and malformed points a couple of times but it's obvious with just a quick glance.

I have had dull needles. Same experience as you. Push push push. Making a dent in the skin before it breaks through. Only to hurt like a both and barely go in. Switch needles and butter.

That's what I did switched it up and it went right in

Never heard this before. I don't see how it could be dull from the package. Did it look dull or was it just the way the injection went?

It was pushing the needle on my skin and the skin denting down. Finally broke the skin and was creeping through the muscle. A sharp needle never makes a divot like that for me.

It's happened to me a lot and I get my pins from cvs lol
