Drug test for work

I am currently running test and clen the work drug tests are usually for recreational drugs right? I just wanted to make sure because I have never been tested before and want to make sure I am safe!

You should be good to go they usually are testing for recreational drugs.

It is extremely rare for anyone who is not an athlete to be tested for steroids. Employers are testing for opiates, marijuana, etc.

And, as per my earlier comment, ask. I've done one (two in fact) for a brief spell at Amazon. I had to mention that I'd used codeine. At one test three guys got up and left cos they been 'indulging' rather heavily at the weekend and knew they'd fail.

Any drug test for an employer will just be for recreational drugs, pain killers and alcohol.

You have nothing to worry about man.

You will NEVER be tested for steroids for work related purposes. That test is damn expensive. They would rather keep it in the $75/$100 range for drug testing purposes. Even some of the most high profile jobs I’ve had to get a drug test for, have never tested for gear.

I did the Amazon one two times. First time we pee'd in a cup and breathed on some machine, Second time was swabs in the mouth onto a panel. It was opiates and stims. The contract allowed for random alcohol testing (probably a breath test).
