I think I have only smoked about 5 times in my life, but each time I would churn through 5000 calories of food
i honestly think having a couple drinks 1-2 times a week isnt going to do much in the way of affecting your gains/motivation...i have 3-4 drinks every once and a while and im sure to drink TONS of water while im doing this..i wake up the next morning do cardio, bang out a huge workout no problem...i dont know, everyone is different , i like to look good but also enjoy life and cutting lose once in a while....i for one wont be the type who sits in the house every night bored as hell, but to each his own.
i guess if it came down to going out drinking or sitting on my couch bored every night maybe i would take the drinking once in a while. it still doesnt change the fact that alcohol is counter productive to building muscle. it just is.
