Drawing/injection question

This may sound a bit stupid but if i keep the needle im using withdraw sterile is it safe to use for future withdrawls? I know the needle gets worn from going through the vials rubber seal but basically is it safe to re-use a withdrawing needle

It should be safe, given its sterile. But the chances for it to get 'dirty' increases every time

You can clean it on the outside, but there is no way of cleaning the needle from the inside, so I would use a new needle everytime. They cost really cheap, so I don't think that it is worth risking to get an infection of an abcess just to save a needle. Therefore, better use a new one everytime - it is better to be safe, rather than sorry.

reusing the drawing needle is perfectly fine. once the rubber gets worn out though you will need to replace it. or lets say you drop it on the dirty floor exposed etc.

people get way too paranoid over infection. the chances of you getting infection from a needle is very very very slim. you got heroine addicts re-using needles who don't even get infections and you are worried? i saw a greg valentino video where he ranted for 15 minutes about swabbing and making sure you shower before an injection, it was ridiculous. he was saying that was the most important thing to using steroids. it is idiotic.

do people realize WATER itself has tons of bacteria in it? so if you shower before an injection and dry off with a towel (again that has bacteria on it) you really think that is going to make or break things? you can do everything right and still get infections, its normal. thats why we have an immune system.. if your immune ssystem is that weak then you shouldn't be using steroids in the first place.

I knew it wasnt as serious as people have made it sound, i mean stupidly i don't even wipe the area im about to inject to prep it all i do is shower and wash the site i'm going to inject with antibacterial dial soap

It's fine to re-use withdrawing needle tips but a withdrawing needle tip is 20 cents. Why risk it?

I am overly paranoid when it comes to being sanitary with my injections but in my opinion, it's better to be safe then sorry.

I change it every time because its not worth the risk (even if it is small) over something so cheap as a needle.
