Drawing from a Vial?

Newbie question, do I poke through the same hole when drawing from a vial? I have some 10ml test prop vials and would need to draw 1ml every other day. Can someone help me with the procedure as to how I do more than one draw from the same vial?

I make it a point to try to hit the same hole every time so I get a good seal. I don't think you want to make new holes.

Just aim for the center. You're only going to poke the vial 10x. It's going to take more than that to ruin a stopper unless you're using thick needles but even then, I haven't screwed up a stopper yet

I use test 500. And I only pin 125mg twice a week so I'm sticking a pin in that stopper 40 times and it has held up fine

But if you poke somewhere else, wouldn't it leak from the previous hole?

It's a good idea to try to poke the same spot. But you don't have to. If you happen to use different spots, and the rubber stopper doesn't do it's job.. well then maybe you should think again where you got your test from.

I draw using an 18 gauge needle. It leaves a visible mark in the rubber, so I aim for that every time. You don't really have to, but you might as well try to use the same hole.
