Down in the dumps

although us men are not supposed to own up to it, being down in the dumps from time to time is normal. doesn't mean you are less of a man. doesn't mean you have to run out and take antidepressants. just happens. you will snap out of it soon enough. gets easier as you get older.

normal depression is your mind's way of telling you may need to make a change. sort of like a sore shoulder is your body's way of telling you it is injured and needs to heal.

this post is not meant to offend any of you guys on antidepressants and chemical imbalance so don't get all pissy at me.

Right Now Im Going Through The Same Shit. I Came Off A Cycle 6 Weeks Ago And Cant Seem To Stay Motivated Unless I Think About My Next Cycle. I Believe That It Is Addictive Mentally For Alot Of Us Hell 99.9% Of Us This Is A Very Real And Unfourtanate. You Are Not Alone I Assure You. This Shit Fucks With Everyones Heads, You Love The Feeling Of Growing And Those Fucking Awsome Pumps You Feel Almost Invincable Then Its All Gone. My Advice Is To Stay In The Game If You Love It But Not At The Cost Of Your Sanity. Peace Bro

Sometimes I think the same way.... what if Im addicted to the drugs? What if I cant stop? But I dont look at it that way. I really dont care either way tho. I know I have a goal I want to attain physically, and it's not possible without the drugs. "Whatever it takes, for however long it takes; so long as it takes me to where I want to be." That's my motto. Whatever the consequences are, I'll deal with them if and when they arise.

Hey Bros!

Thanks to all who gave their thoughts. I know I'm just in a little rut right now and things will be better down the road. It's nice to know there's other peeps in your shoes though. I'll hand out the Karma where ever I can. Thanks again.

I agree with this guy...everyone is different of course, but I find talking to some buddies while having a few beers and good meal, generally can do wonders to lift me out a funk and lend perspective to whatever issues I am having.

If you are worried about your usage - then take a break, let the body recover, and get involved in some other things for a while - more activities with your son, focus on your work, find women, baseball, porn, whatever...Hopefully you just need to get over the hill in front of you, like all of us do from time to time.

Best,

Bluesman
