Prolactin is known to have a damping effect on libido in females as observed in breastfeeding women.

However, progesterone is believed to be one of the most important hormones responsible for a woman's sex drive.

So, if dostinex interferes with prolactin but does not reduce progesterone (as is often stated on this board) then it should help.

The times when a woman's progesterone levels are highest (during ovulation and pregnancy) are also the times most women experience increased sex drive.

However, I did some research and it seems that when dostinex reduces the secretion of prolactin in female rats, the estrogen/progesterone ratio is increased. This would potentially decrease sex drive in women.

regarding deprenyl, the site I found for it on the web state that it will increase libido in men but does not mention women.
