Is there a way to do Donkey raises without the need of a partner????
Is hard to find somebody willing to sit-up on your back (and look ridiculous) while doing them???
Any other suggestions???

Try holding dumbells and doing one legged calf raises on stairs/step/ladder
Also angle body and lean on wall. Do 200 and you should feel it. I'm led to believe that calves respond best to higher reps anyway so if standing calf raise machines aren't available it's not the end of the world.
