Domestic Shipping

Super Test 2004

New member
I am curious as to whether or not it is easier to ship gear domestically as opposed to internationally. I recently received a packeage internationally, but it was a hell of a headache worrying about it.

Just want to know if shipping within your country is safer and easier?

i'm new to this, but the first gear i ordered i got international and i thought i was going to freak out every time the door bell rang. fuck international. i got a domestic source and no worries now. no customs and it takes 3 or 4 days to get your stuff.

i use both domestic and international. the domestic only has mex gear so i gotta go int to get some of my goodies.but hey, they dont make it,i get a freakin letter which goes in the trash and have it reshipped to another addy...no biggie

Domestic shipping is always going to be safer and less stressful. I've seen guys get controlled deliveries for 100 amps or a few k dbol ordering international. You very rarely ever hear about any domestic package getting nabbed.

With domestic your biggest concern is probably broken amps or vials leaking through...

Though a good domestic will know how to package it correctly so that will not be an issue (and don't think for a second they are all the same). The packaging (or lack thereof) can potentially get your ass in big trouble...

Domestic is a lot safer and the turn around times are far less. Try to get a guy with references for his packaging.

How about when receiving it?

I hate signing for things, so could a domestic source have it delivered and left in front of the door if nobody opens up. And can most packages be left in the mailbox as my mailbox is not that small but not too big either.

I'm too paranoid as i dont want to get in trouble so i would just love it if it could be received in the mailbox.

As long as its packed properly (lots of bubble paper so nothing brakes and leaks out) domestic is the SAFEST way to go.

i had the best hook up , was domestic got everything i needed in 2 days max.. but he sent an email telling me he was changing email addys, now i cant find the new one...so it kinda sucks but yea, domestic is the way to go.. dont worry to bad that way

That's the problem with those little 2 meg accounts, they never hold enough mail lol...
I have to delete mail atleast once a week :o.....

IMHO it is simple if you are in USA with the laws you have to endure

1) International is cheaper but comes at the expense of greater risk

2) Domestic is more expensive but reduced risk

As with most business transactions the more risk the cheaper the price and greater the rewards (and of course the penalties)

Wrongun!

You got it Wrongun, took the words out of my mouth. Domestic is always the way to go, however you wont get the selection or the prices by shopping on the international market.

I came home from a four day road trip for work, and there was a nice little brown cardboard box sitting on my front doorstep just waiting for me to open it up. I felt like it was christmas...

Go Domestic, it's by far the best way. Less worries, less bull shit (it's hard for a source to say that a domestic package has been in the mail for 3 weeks). But your biggest concern with Domestic (any International as well) is quality packaging.
