In all regards bro and without trying to brag, I grow Nethererlands High Times Cannabis Cup Winner crop year round. G13, Morning Glory, Jack Herer, NYC Diesel, Silver haze... And when I mean that, I mean I've watched pretty much every type of strain grow in their plant form (not just smelt inside a plastic baggy that Nigga P hooked me up with)...
Now getting back to the point... Yes, most Canadian weed is Sativa strain weed, because most sativa strains are grown indoors. Incase u don't know, there are two types of cannibus, Indica and Sativa. The high from an Indica strain is more of a body stoned effect versus a more cerebral high from sativa. Its a fact taht Indica's makes you sleepier, while Sativa gets you UP... Indicas are easier to grow, Sativas are tougher, which is why most Sativa's are grown indoors due to the easier growing conditions
The thing is what you prolly don't understand is that B.C. isn't a strain of weed, nor is it a place in Canada where people get "B.C. weed from". B.C. Bud Depot is an infamous seed bank in Brittish Columbia that has been one of the top major distributing seed banks across North America for over 3 decades... When people say "I got B.C. buds" it doesn't mean it was grown in Canada or Brittish Columbia, it means that the weed was picked off the B.C. buds crop, grown from B.C. buds depot seeds. And if you go to the B.C. bud depot website it will show you that 85% of their plants are Sativa strains. Not that i'm sayin peeps in B.C. don't grow weed, alot alot do, but bet ure ass they get their seeds from B.C. Bud Depot simply due to the fact the bank is right there.
So in sense, anyone that has ever actually grown B.C. bud strains and compared it to Netherlands strains like Soma/TH/Serious/Sensi, would know that there is no comparison. I actually do keep up with the Cannibus Cup awards because I usually try to purchase from the seed bank that wins every year, B.C. bud depot and strains havn't ranked since the 90's
http://www.coffeeshop.freeuk.com/General/CCres.html... They kinda lost their shine in the last decade since European seedbanks learned how to discretely send their packs across the boarder
