I know that I can not push 100 percent every workout like that...I get mentally burned out... I can for short periods of time though...

Amen to that. My CNS gets burned out heavily when pushing like that.

DC agrees with you entirely, a lesser known facet of the program (but one some of us have been trying to bring into focus as of late) is take take 1-2 week cruising periods (80% or so of max, straight sets no rest pause etc.) after 6-8 week blasts.

VERY good idea. I have to take cruise months after a contest and a good cruise week every few months.
