Dog Crap Workout??

Anyone heard of this workout? Any info would be appreciated.. And yes, that is the name of it too.. A few pros are doing it, thats why Im asking..

ive been doing it off and on for a few years.. its a great workout..

its based upon a rest pause type of workload.. heavy heavy weights low volume.... kind of like a powerbuilders workout...

What do you need to know about it? I am fairly well verses in it, I was trained by Dante...

Doggcrap training does work, but you have to be prepared to follow it exactly as it should be. Any modifications and you aren't doing DC, you are doing something else. The training is the easiest part, the eating/diet is the hardest. You have to be stuffing yourself with high protein food and shakes day in and day out, and be prepared to smash your previous records in your log dook each week. You have to give 100%. I would even recommend contacting Inhuman or DC himself on intensemuscle and seeing about getting trained by them personally. It's worth the cost.

I myself no longer follow it, but that's just because over the years I've found something that works perfect for me. It's not more effective than DC, and DC's not better than this (for me) but it's that I enjoy my type of workouts more. If you find you enjoy the DC training, and are able to give it your all, you will make incredible gains. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

Oh and btw, happy thanksgiving brother, I hope you and your loved ones had a nice day.

Thanks for the info fellas.. I just wanted some feedback, as I was sure some of you have heard of it or have tried it.. A good bro, PMed me a site, I will be stopping by to check it out.. Where can I get the exact workout and diet regime?? Never thought of googling it, duh!!

I just want to try something different, Ive been stuck in kinda a rut, and want something to get me motivated to start training hard again.. Last few weeks, workouts have been sucking ass..

there is a basic outline..
when u work with dante he tweaks it to your stats, history ect.. but if you want to PM me i can give you a brief outline of it...

I heard IH kinda disappeared from the boards and good luck gettin Dante to train you. He obviously has a lot of people interested and just trains as a part time thing. You can try your best to do the routine but like others said it isn't gonna be the same unless he or IH lays out your training and diet plan. I have done DC style training and it is definitely soemthing different and I liked it. I will probably do it again when I am much more advanced.

Italianmuscle bro can us end me that link in a P.M cuz im really interested in trying this DC but i want to do it right

It's ashame the stickys from Animal's board aren't still around. Those were from when DC first came out on a board with his training system. Everything was laid out in great detail there. Come to think of it, it blows that A's board isn't open at all. Great site and the cycles for pennys thread is a classic.

Your best bet is to try intensemuscle and do searches there. Perhaps someone there has the cfp thread saved on their pc.

Yeah DC had everyone take them down. I had both parts of cycling for pennies saved and then my computer crashed and I had to reformat the drive. They were actually up on animal's site for a while, even after all tyhe others were down and then one day they were just gone. He took them down because his sytem was getting so much criticism from people who were half assing it.

Not familiar with it, But I have 4 dogs and man its a work out when they shit in all different places.... Good lower back w/o IMO.

Dante's official site is intensemuscle and there is a boatload of information in the Dogg Pound over there tailored just for the questions and answers.an advanced lifter will have no problem sturcturing his own work out from the info on the web and make a lot of gains.

It's not the be all end all to training systems but it can work effectively well in putting on mass well beyond what a traditional volume routine will do..

It works just like a lot of stuff works. In my time I've written hundreds of training articles. They all worked. Whether or not DC is best for everyone, all the time, I'm not so sure.

One area where he and I agree is with protein saturation. When gaining, you can get very close to a "juiced feeling" if you keep your bloodstream saturated with protein. Yes, it does mean lots of liquid aminos -- shakes and such. It's a commitment, in time dedication and cost. But I know from dozens of cases, people who altered their training, increased calories and added BIG BLAST 3x's a day have wound up making better progress than guys doing close to gram of gear a week. I know that's hard for a lot of people to wrap their mind around, but it's true.

I did DC for a month and could not stick to their program. It is very intense. Lots of post lift streching and always increasing weight every week. Lots of food, shakes. I think it' very effective.... but too strick for my old ass.

That's a part of it too. Anything that increases intensity will work but not everyone can tolerate it. Injury is also more prevelant. (But you don't hear about those cases). The concept of always adding weight is also debatable. You can do that for a while but there comes a time you have to make the weight "feel" heavier instead of just adding pounds, which again, increases the risk of injury, or in the least, not recuperating fully.
