Does Test Bother or Make a Enlarged Prostate Worse?

Also enlarged prostate=poor erections??? Or ed in general??? Also are some of the above posts saying that test could lead to prostate cancer, I thought there was no evidence of aas causing cancer???

For every study showing it will cause cancer there is one saying it won't. From what I can gather, if the cancer ALREADY EXISTS, test could make it grow faster but to actually cause it is the big debate.

its when the test turns to estrogen that the problems occur, as in advancing age.

young men generally have very high test levels, but their estrogen is usually low. no prostate cancer in that group

well. this was interesting responses here. sonovabeech. i posted the post about epidydimitis a while back and was having bad ball pain. one doc thoought it was prostate, 3 others didn't. it flared up again despite being on antib's for 30 days straight and i decided to look to home remedy, well any remedy damnit to help get rid of this ball pain. i've been taking a prostate health pill. (has ginger, which has made me poop regular since i've been on it). but, i look in my cabinet and started on the kyolic garlic and zinc (since i had a cold) my symptoms seem to have dissappeared for a day and a half now? maybe the zinc did it because i've been on the prostate stuff for about two weeks and it didn't do anything except help bowel movements cause of the ginger(another tip i learned here, i love it here ) but i started on the zinc and the pain level went down and diminished. i had stopped the caffiene thinking possibly it was caffiene as he told me to stay away from it. but now reading this i think it was zinc.

yup, that's what I think the article I read was saying... no studies right now suggesting that AAS causes cancer, but if prostate cancer already exists, then higher levels of test (whether natural or exogenous) will cause the cancer to grow.

Finasteride is the active ingredient in Propecia. Proscar is the stronger version (higher milligrams). It's supposed to be prescribed by a doctor...

What about erectile problems, I have a friend who takes percs and oxy's all the time and he was telling me that they can enlarge the prostate and cause you to not be able to getr wood, which got me thinking because ever since I have juiced and many many months after I can maintain gains with no problems and have alot of desire for women but when it comes down to it i cant get a FULL erection all of the time it seems, so would that be attributed to test and cycling??? Would GREATLY APPRECIATE some good feedback on this.

Also let me get this right, Ginger and ZMA will help the prostate??? K for some good help guys, this thread has gotten me very interested.

i've had that problem here and there. also had the ball pain(unknown cause), taking a solar ray product called prostate blend with saw palmetto and ginger and some other stuff. and now taking zinc since my symptoms have cleared up decently. ginger helps me poop good too. no more little plop plop plops, i get a nice banana again.
