Does AS effect shoulder width

Soma

We all know that AS use can prematurely end vertical growth(long bone growth plates). But is the same true for a person's rib cage and other bones of the upper body responsible for shoulder width and overall thickness?? I wonder if it could even help b/c anabolics often promote calcium deposition(i think). Just curious b/c im 20 and am prob not growing vertically anymore. Thanks for the help.

someone please correct me if I'm long, but I think it only affects the growth plates of long bones..

kevin7:rolleyes:

if you have those ectomorphic role fron shoulders, you will improve them a tad, but they will never look wide like a football players brother.

My shoulders were f***** up for over a decade. After a little tren, I'm all better. That fina stuff is too much for my mood though. I turn into a raging maniac, so no more TA for me, but I'm thankful for what it did for my shoulders.

Thanks BOT for great post. Geez, I always learn alot on the
Internet.
As for the reference to the book Adonis Complex saying
one can tell a juicer by their shoulders. So true! The whole
shoulder area seems to grow first & fastest. I'll have to read
that book.

Thanks BOT

Thanks BOT- that was exactly what i was lookin for. Reason i asked was i wanted to run a very moderate 20-30 mg cycle of the ** OX for 8 weeks or so- Just to get my feet wet. I dont think this could adversely affect bone development. Thanks.

I just recently discovered this website, although it just seems to be preying upon the wide spread desire to have broad shoulders. Growth hormone hasn't been mentioned either. Non-anabolic would be optimum diet and supplements, swimming regularly doing butterfly, frontstroke, breaststroke, breathing squats, pullovers, squat stretches and maybe even gymnastics. That about all i know on the subject. Would be great if 'Bot' could post a reply.
