Does anybody know where I can Florida Orange Ricordea from?

Dude, I just set up the Prop tank, filled it and everything.

Yeah, it's ARM.

Hey, there is a really small leak on the main bulkhead...If I silicone it up right now, how long will it take before I can start running it? Is 24 hours cool?

Fuck. It's pissing me off. I had the whole thing set to go, then Boom, A tiny fucking drip drop.

Oh man, i got two SWEET acros, some of my favorite ones...

listen you guys -

I'm having a serious fight with hair algae right now in my 200gal. I got 180 lbs of LR. I have 880watts of vho and 1200 watts of MH 6500K. The MH are only on for 5 hours a day. I have a Berlin Xl skimmer running 24/7. No nitrates on any test kit. Fuck- I can't seem to get this hair algae to go away. I use a RO/DI unit on my topoff (kalk). I have a 55 gal sump with a sand bed, but CC in the main tank. I think it may be the CC bed. Maybe I should change to sand. Fuck! I do not want to have to go through that.

I haven't tested for phosphate though, I am going to get a test this week.

What can I do? This is killing me. I am growing caulerpa in the sump and take out 5 lbs a week almost.

Fish: powder blue tang
Yellow tang
sixline wrasse
Domino damsel
Lawn mower blennie
3 blue damsels
Royal gramma
three stripe damsel

My tangs and blennie won't touch this stuff.
Will a yellow eye tang eat it?

forgot-

I also have a hammer, frogspawn, galaxea, mushrooms, torch, acropora. I had a ton of various polyps come in on the trans shipped LR. The algae is growing over them in places.

Clean up crew is about 50 snails (mix of turbo and astrea) and about as many blue leg hermits. Also, one green brittle star. I had about 150 snails but many died bc there just isn't enough for them to eat.

I don't feed much, and my tangs only like Seaweed Selects green. Bastards!

Wait 24 hours for it too fully cure, but if it were me, I'd get another bulkhead.

Just got back from Baltimore, and traded a few of my ricordias for those sweet orange zoo's. They are unbelievable...pics soon to come!

How long has this sytem been setup? Is your membrane on your RO/DI old? What about the micron and carbon prefilter? How much are you feeding? Is your skimmer constantly skimming out junk? Might need a more powerful skimmer, I use a MyReef M-2 (same as a Bullet-2) with a Mag 18 pump. Beckett skimmers are really the best way to go. I bought mine for $250, whick is a lot cheaper then the Bullet, and IMO the quality is better.

The CC bed could be contributing to the hair algae, thats why oolitic sand is really recommended as it doesn't trap detrius.
