like coffee destroy the protein & make it useless?

I like to add my Optimum Nutrition Double Rich Chocolate to my coffee & was wondering.

i did that for awhile my freshman year... it shouldn't hurt but remember that caffeine is a cellular constrictor and as a result CAN hinder nutrient uptake.

I actually have some protein hot chocolate drink, so I would say no it has no affect on the protein, its also caffein free.

poor comparison, all proteins have a different structure and different heat capacities. I don't see it as a problem.. but if you wanna make sure just get the water hot enough to satisfy, not to scald.

i dunno the answer but various protein powder packaging on the side states you can add it in cooking like in pancake mixes etc so i dont know but they reckon it's ok (but then they would wouldn't they ;) )
