I don't know if I'm suthern or redneck. I'd have to say a little more the former than the latter IMO. BUT, there's a definite accent. My GF lives in the midwest and every time I go up there it never fails, there is someone who can't understand a word I say. Either way, I talk slow. My lady says she could fall asleep waitin' on me to finish a sentence

I have been accused of being from Australia before. Don't know WTF that's all about. When they ask, I just smile and say 'Yep'.

I get that a lot that people like my voice. Maybe that's why dogs and kids like me so much. Yeah we don't really have much of an accent out here, Project had a little one when I hung out with him but not much. Now especially if I have been drinking I'll pick up the accent of whomever I am talking to, and that can get pretty comical.

I have a slight Southern accent, which is appropriate since I live in the South It's not a twangy Hee Haw Daisy Duke accent, (I love Southern women), it's more of a border state Cracker type, which is the opposite of a Yankeeslicker from the flatlands. Everyone has an accent to some degree. I talked to some Canadian girls last time I was in Mexico and they went on and on about my Southern accent. I told them that they also had an accent, and they denied it. I guess they think that they alone know how to speak, and everyone else has a regional speech deficiency.
