I figure in my whole life I've had 5 true friends.

I have two classes of friends:

First group are fair weather pals. As in the type you suggested, they only come around when they need something from me.

Second group are TRUE friends in every sense of the word!

no, i dont have many friends really. i have a couple of guys that i talk training with. and some girls that i help out when they need it. but they usually talk to me cuz they need something. information for example.
