DO you count veggies in your daily caloric intake?

I have not been, but maybe I should, I eat probably at least 200 calories in veggies a day, some days even more.

I know you have to count potatoes, corn, peas an d carrots and starchy veggies, but I dont count:

Brocolli
Cauliflower
Tomatoes
Red, Orange and green peppers
Lettuce - Spinich
Cabbage
pickles
green beans
muchrooms
celery
radishes
artichokes
pepperchinnis
spices - cilantro those types

I am sure there are more i will post if i think of any others that i eat and dont count.

They usually don't amount to much but you should still keep track of them. Eggplant and zucchini are my personal favs. And congrats on the extra pounds you lost! (Saw it on your other thread) Keep up the good work.

Thanks I have lost 150 now so whoo hoooo. But like i said I never count the veggies and I know on a lot of diets you can eat as many as you want, like Weight watchers so I was just wondering if the average person who is in shape counted them

Oh shit I dont want to count them then I have to drop 200 of something else, grrrrrr

Why? If you are losing as your calories are, why would you have to drop them to make some "magic number"? Fibrous veggies in fact should be added to diets, not dropped. I would say if 200 calories is impeding your fat loss, it is not the veggies fault.

No i am still losing at what I am eating. People want me to eat more than 1600 cal a day that is minus the veggies, that would be 1800 so I am not going to eat 1800 plue the 200 that would bring me up to 2000, get it?

^^ Why not just try it to see if it works? Only THEN will you know for sure. If it doesn't then you can tweak diet as needed to shave cals.
