about safewords:

Way to go is to just use the stoplight.

Green means keep going
Yellow means "that's enough of that, let's try something else for a while" or "that's OK but you're doing it too hard"
Red means "this stops right now." Meaning everything. Then debrief.

Most safewords mean red so like someone said, taking someone to their safeword can be unsafe.

But if you use safewordS (plural) you increase the communication, and communication is key.
