Dissapionted with my results

How many of you guys have been dissapionted with yout cycle. I'm on a SUS 500 a week cycle and am in my fifth week, so far i have gained 11 pds out of which at least 3-4 are water or fat. My Strength is increasing and but i physcially i think i look the same.

I'm eating clean and a lot and training like hell. But i havn't experienced the phenomenal stength and muscle gains that everyone talks about. I guess i'm a little unappreciative of my results cause my friends tell me 11pds on SUS in 5 weeks is not bad at all. My target was around 20pds.

Anyhow, coming back to the original, how many of you have been a little or a lot dissapionted by your results
 
11 lbs isnt bad...................weight can be very misleading, at least thats what i have come to find

what do u weigh and how many cals are you getting a day

most of the time you really don't start to feel the strength gains until your 5th or 6th week. I found taking measurements or even before during and after pics help alot. trust me 11 pounds is good. I have always had trouble putting on weight. I'm 8 weeks in right now and I have only gained about 10 - 12 pounds. that is with eating like a pig, protein shakes, and taking weight gainer. some people just have a higher matabolism that makes it hard to gain weight, but if you are eating clean then that is good gains. I know now my strength feels like it is going through the roof. try taking a couple of pics and then in another 4 weeks.
 
I have never been really dissapointed with gains because I keep my goals realistic around 20 pounds lbm lol. As far as 11 pounds in 5 weeks goes, like fonzy said that really is pretty good. Look at it this way you can only gain so much water weight so go on a mission to gain those 9 pounds to reach your goal of 20. Even if you dont hit 20 your gonna be pretty fuckin close.
 
ricerocket is right. You really don't feel the sus kick in till week 5. Keep kicking ass in the gym and eating like a mofo. Sus should be run at leats 8-10 wks...how long are you planning on running it for?
 
5-weeks - 11lbs. You should start getting good results now. Sus can take away to kick in. Be patient.
 
To genuinely gain 5 lbs of muscle mass in a short period of time is very good. I bet fewer than 20% of the guys on these boards who claim 20 lb. LBM gains on a cycle actually gain that much.

I would bet 8-10 lbs. is closer to the norm. Who cares about water weight, that's temporary. Or fat, which is something we're trying to avoid unless we're Lee Priest.

If you gain 1 lb. of LBM per week, that's 10 lbs. in 10 weeks. Actually, there is very low likelihood of gaining a full lb. of LBM in a week, either, even on cycle, unless you really know what you're doing, or are willing to overeat to pack on fat as well.

You'd gain more if you cycled the sus with some deca and took in additional calories while training with heavier weights. Maybe try that next cycle.

7 lbs. LBM in 5 weeks? That's fine. Your strength probably isn't going up because you're overtraining, undersleeping, undereating, etc.... there is a tendency to hit it too hard on cycle and tire your joints and connective tissues too...
 
Thaty is not to bad at all...what are you stacking it with and if nothinig...did you do a straight mg's the whole way or did you start high and work to what you r taking now...

It's been four weeks since I started 500mg a week of ICN Enanthate and so far I'm up 15lbs. Even though it's not all lean muscle, most of it is along with a little fat increase. I'm also taking 1mg of armidex ed and 2 gallons of water a day to make sure I keep as much of the water weight down as possible. My strength has increased every week, but when I look in the mirror I too am not satisfied. So far this has been my fourth cycle and by far the best. ICN is the shiznit!!
 
f4209211, i replied to one of your other posts, im in the same boat brother, ive been doing 375mg sust for over 5 weeks and am only up 10pds, this week and for the next 3 weeks i am upping it to 500mg, in all honesty i expected more, my weight hasn't changed now for about a week, the scales say im up 10pds, but i can't see it.

The exact same shit is happening to me too bro. I'm stuck at 211 for about a week now but in my strength is a little up. But to be honest i too expected more. Everyone else says i'm a little bigger but the amazing stories that you read about guys and the dreams that you have of becoming a super human are merely dreams. One of the things i truly learned from this experience is not to believe everything you read.

I don't know how people never get off steriods, i can't wait to get off mine. 4 weeks in another 5 to go. I'm tired of constantly eating for one thing. I don't know, how those pros do it.
 
i thought 20pds maybe more if i ate right, trained hard and got plenty of rest, ive got 3.5 - 4 weks left, im hoping to see some more gains, next time i will use 500mg all the way through, and use deca @ 300 -400 mg as well.

Whats your routine look like?
Diet and rest.. How does your post wo diet look?

I easily overtrain and when I get to the 'strong' portion of the cycle I drop a day and got to 3 a week.

Honestly 11 lean pounds with little fat is fucking good in 5 weeks bro. You will see the biggest dif when you diet at the end. I looked way bigger at 225 than at 252(peak bloat)..

I think your'e probably right. I'm getting big but the bloat is concealing the gains. The defination is not there and that could be misleading. I train only 3 days in a week. I never less than 6 and more than 10 sets per body part. These are heavy sets to failure after warm up. I'm eating more than i have ever eaten and sleeping at least 9-10 hrs a day. I know i'm dialing things quite good and every gym session i break some kind of personal strength record.

After 9 week of SUS i will take Clen for 2 weeks on, 2 off and then Clomid for 3 weeks and then another 2 weeks clen cycle. At end of it, i'll truly asses the result of my cycle. I started at 200 at around 13% BF and if i'm around 210 at 10% BF. i'll be quite pleased. Otherwise, wait for another 8-10 weeks and go back to the drawing board.

What is your daily diet like?

What is your training like?

I would bet alot of money you are not eating enough. Let loose, eat a bunch get alittle fat and put on those pounds

Shoot for 2 X bodyweight in protein a day, closer to 400-500,

Alot of carbs, Complex all day, except post workout

Add in some EFA's, a few steaks, and about 5-6 whole eggs every day.

60-80grams protein, 100grams of simple sugars post workout as well.

Also 500mgs isnt very much considering we can produce around 300mgs on a weekly basis, Up the dose, to 3 amps a week, m-w-f

That is what I think.
 
LOL, you gain above 10lbs in 5weeks and you come here complaining? Sustanon doesn't even kick in till week 3-5 for most people and you come here complaining that you haven't gained much lol. Let me break it down to you, you are taking steroids not magic pills ... hope it sinks in. This isn't a flame, but seriously, most people would be more than happy to gain what you gained in 10weeks at the small dosages that you are doing.

Your exactly right athernigy. If you want to gain more wieght start adding 3 tbs of olive oil to all of your shakes. If you drink 2 shakes a day thats an extra 700 calories EASY. Ever since ive started ont he olive oil my wieght is going up steady, and im even dieting right now and im still gaining!

OLIVE OIL??? Are you for real? I have never heard anything like that before. Does it contain mostly EFA's or something? More input please...
 
Like i said, i might be a little unappreciative of my gains. Everyone tells me my gains are excellent. I guess it human nature never to be satisfied but thank you to all of you who have made me realized that i'm doing pretty well.
