I hate it when guys make it seem like they live at the gym. they workout, or half ass workout and socialize, and then in the r=lokcer room, they are all about preparing themselves as if they are going out to town or something. mind you I workout late before the gym closes or early in the morning. I especially hate it when some guys walk around in their birthday suit to the sink and their shit is all hanging out laying on the counter while they do their hygiene crap. or when they dry off their bodies with the hand dryers. freaking filthy pigs. just wanted to get this off of my chest, even if I get flamed. just freaking workout, take a quick shower, and go home. jeesus H. how simple is that? personally I show up workout, leave. tadow.

okay, let the flaming begin....

and let me vent now a little about this situation..

I absolutely despise you homo's that have to walk around naked in the changeroom with your towel over your shoulder instead where it should be around your DAMN WAIST! I have nothing against gay people but the ones like this that are trying to expose themselves are absurd. And if you're out there thinking 'hey I do that but i'm not gay' maybe you should look a little furthur into yourself.
 
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH BOTH OF YOU! I hate those guys! Why the hell do they do that? Ok, so you shower at the gym. That's fine. Why can't you cover up while walking from the shower to your locker. NE of you have guys that do this? Some dudes in my gym put 1 leg up on the sink counter to dry their balls and shit! WTF! Drives me nuts! FUCK THOSE GUYS!

these are the types of dudes that make want to grab there already soaked towels and whip them in their nuts for being inconsiderate. kaPOW!!! jeesus H people. WTF!! I guess with chicks, it aint so bad, at least boods are nice to look at and they dont have the third leg dangling while they are walking nekked.

I'm not gay, and I doubt those guys who go nude are, but it's just uncomfortable, you have to consciously avert your eyes or els e YOU look gay, with the other guys in a towel, it's not a problem if you have to squat down to tie your shoe.......

LOL this is too funny but on a serious note i totally agree WTF is that. Myself i just wash my face get in my car, go home and take all the time i need in private
 
we catch a couple of fellasssss in activity each week in the steamroom. needless to say, their memberships are revoked and they are arrested. hehe
 
Oh my god!

Monday at the gym I come in and its obvious one of the older gentleman that comes to play raquet ball was there. This guy was pushing 75. He was one of those hunch backed, pasty, short, old men. He put his socks on first, stood up totally naked to get his other clothes out of the locker room. I accidently looked at his ass, it was so nasty. Whats more, whenever someone opens the door into the locker room its possible for one half of the gym to see everyone in the locker room, I guess this guy didn't know that. NASTY.

Yesterday I go in and see the same thing, some old guy, one of those "I used to be huge" guys with the big gut was naked, PUT HIS SOCKS ON FIRST FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I ended up looking at his ass too. When I'm in there I put my underwear on really quickly.....then my shirt, etc. I don't like people seeing me naked.

They parade around as if they own the whole place and go to the sink and have a shave, do there hair, pick there nose, wtf?!

Do it at home, I dont want to have to see that kind of weird shit going on

Now if we had communal changing rooms then I would allow it (if it was a hot chick) heheheh
 
yeah WTF is with the shaving shit? I mean, I take my time when I shave, why dont they do that shit at home? WTF?! seems like these neanderthals just dont understand consideration or personal SPACE! I knew this post would ignite some unreleased tension lol
 
If you played team sports in high school or college you should be perfectly comfortable in a locker room full of men taking showers. Why should someone paying for a gym membership have to rush through the shower? There are some who abuse the situation though. Most of this stuff can be solved by simply saying something to the person that's bothering you. If a guy puts his foot on the counter, tell him to take that shit to his locker! If noone tells him he'll keep doing it.

If someone starts acting weird or makes a pass, he gets his ass kicked, period.
I thought it was mainly women who had this hang-up. My wife tells me some of them take showers while wearing bathing suits, etc.

I see nothing wrong with walking naked from the shower to the locker, but if you go to the sink, you should wrap that shit up
 
yesterday there were 3 guys naked demonstrating form for exercises (squats, lunges, kickbacks)

I was slightly horrified. At least put on your underwear before you start swinging your shit around.



It's not a naked social hour. Take your shower, dry off, and put on clothes. you can talk and whetever while you do it......but please don't drip dry in front of me.



(by the way our gym kicked a guy out for jerking off in the shower room, we don't have stalls, just open wall showers)

It's always the outta shape, fat, saggy, hairy MF's that feel the need to conduct social hour in the change room with it all hangin out. It's never the big guys that put all the effort into their physique that do that, but why is it that we bodybuilders catch so much flak for showing off our bodies, ie, just for wearing a muscle shirt, at least when I wear one my nuts are on the inside of my clothes
 
it's cause the guys in shape have places to go (chicks houses usually) then to hang out with some naked fat men

i go naked in the changeroom and am use to seeing people naked,its not like i stare but you see it and are use to it,it takes a certain comfort and maturity level to handle this kind of situation,but i agree some shit is not appropriate like the counter thing
 
Damn, didn't y'all ever play any sports in HS or College?

I agree, blow drying your balls is pretty disgusting.

But I'm not wrapping a towel around my sweaty bod on the way to the shower. On the way back, OK.

And WTF is wrong with shaving? For a long time, I was hitting the gym in the morning on the way to work. It was a bitch just getting up early enough as it was. I sure wasn't getting up earlier to shave first.

There are some guys that actually bring swim trunks to shower in. Give me a break. Ain't nobody that interested in your shit.
 
It is to the point that I go to the gym ready to workout do my rouitne then leave I don't even go near to locker room.....It's pretty sad.....:mad: :mad: :mad:
 
What about those of us that go to the gym prior to going to work? May of us work in corporate environments which require us to put on a pressed shirt and tie, and hopefully, shave, whatever it takes to go about your day...sheesh, not all of us just go to the gym, then put on t-shirts and off to Geology class. Think about it.

However, I never understood these guys who use a hairdryer on their crotch....WTF?
 
I don't even go to locker rooms anymore. I bring my gym bag and a large beach towel. After my work out I put the towel on the seat of the car then go str8 home.

Then again I'm only about 5 mins from my gym. For you corporate types maybe you could work through lunch and leave earlier? If you must use the locker room then please exercise your etiquette.
 
There are more lecher type fags in locker rooms than most guys really know. They want to see and show dick. I have nothing against people being gay and most of them do not act like that. To me a fag is a guy who seemingly goes out of his way to be freakish and disturbing to others who aren't interested in the same things. I worked for an adult book/video in the same town as the gym I work at currently. The amount of guys that I could verify are interested in gay stuff would shock some. Some guys act normal and keep thier sexuality in the proper places of expression. Then there are others who I see always hanging around guys who don't realize what is up. Like today, one of the most disturbing freaks I've ever met does business with our gym. I know him from my previous job and he made some comment about me tanning and looking good. He knows that I know what is up and he knows that I am straight. Just the way that he talks bugs me. I don't understand why this dude doesn't shut up because some unethical people would just out the mother-fucker. My ex-girlfriend worked at the same porn shop and she even hated this guy. She was good friends with almost all of the other guys who were gay. It's just some people are real slimy.

I agree w/ Hoffmeister. I live 30min away from the gym. It would be dumb to drive home to get a shower and shave and then have to drive the very same route to class and then work. Of course, I am used to the locker room enviroment; because of the work I do, I'm required to shower before I go home from work. If you think showering at a gym is bad, try showering w/ the same 10 men in an open shower room every night.
