should my diet change on days im not lifting? i want to put on as little fat as possible while im trying to gain muscle, so, should i keep up my high calorie/high protein diet on the days im not working out or am i free to switch to a really low calorie diet and go running on those days so that im still gaining all the muscle without the excess fat.

this guy is saying its impossible to gain muscle without gaining fat, so i should hit it in two phases. a muscle building phase for a few months, then a fat loss phase so that the muscle will show.

so, should i continue the same diet on off days or no?

On training days, your body requires more carbs for energy because your body is working harder and using more energy. So cut carbs slightly on non-training days if you're worried about fat, but make sure to keep protein intake the same. Your body is still growing on off days.
