i'm drinking some right now... weird. it has some calories in it, i'm sure, but what the hell do i care.

I keep hearing about it and am dying to try it but no stores around me carry the diet version (kinda weird becasue I live in the suburbs of a major city). On a related note, does anyone know if they are making a diet version of the new vanilla coke?

i dont know if they are or not, but i've added some vanilla extract to diet coke and it's pretty good. i'd assume they would. with lemon coke they started out as single 20 oz. bottles - regular caloric formula. then they came out with 2 liters, and then 6 pack of 20 oz, and then finally diet. that's how it happened in my area, anyway. I live in the northern chicago suburbs, and we have it, but we don't have surge around here. do they have diet surge? i love that drink.

I just visited some of my buddies down in the Tampa area and they have the diet code red there. I wasnt all that crazy about it and prefer regular diet mountain dew to code red but im also interested to see when coke puts out the diet vanilla kind.

I have had diet vanilla creme soda before and like it alot, im sure it will taste similiar.

I love regular Diet Mountain Dew, but its much harder to find in stores, sometimes I have to go to 2 or 3 stores, also when they have sales like 24 cans for 3.48, they never have diet, just regular mountain dew, which sucks.

I live in Ohio, and I can find diet mountain dew, but many stores don't carry it for some reason. Especially when they have sales, they always seem to be out.

The day they start making more diet sodas out of sucralos aka (splenda) is the day that diet sodas will taste great.. Splenda has a very natural sugar flavor.. and so far the there have been no side effects or dangers.. i would not advise anyone to drink diet soda like as a habit.. but as a treat it wont kill you.. but if they start makin coke and the likes outta splenda... it will be absolutely awesome.. someday

there is no sugar/calories in diet pop, its made with aspartame which is a artificial sweetener..

drinking diet soda is going to hurt you bigbear. Ive been a diabetic for 18 years, and have drinking diet daily. No problems what so ever. If you were refering to causing cancer, lol, thats a joke. No diet code red here, but with there was.

Aspartame has a bad rap b/c a certain percentage of people cant metabolize phenalynine (sp?) in the aspartame and have serious reactions to it
