Diet for upcoming cycle.

I posted this on the Diet board but folks dont like me over there apparently. :(

Like an old arthritis stricken woman, my body reacts poorly to carbs. Meaning they put on fat like theres no tomorrow. I tend to eat less than 90g per day, but I have an upcoming cycle of 500mg test e/week. This is what I was thinking:

I work out in the morning first thing, btw. My stats are 5'8, 180, 8%bf:

Meal 1: PWO Shake - 35g protein, 25g carbs

Meal 2: 16oz tuna and wheat pasta: 55g protein, 40g carbs

Meal 3: Roast beef hash with 5 eggs: 45g protein, 40g carbs

Meal 4: Same as above

Snack: Handful of peanuts, 5g protein, 5g carbs

Meal 5: 8oz grass fed ground beef: 45g protein, 5 carbs

Meal 6: Shake: 35g protein, 15g carbs

Total: 265g protein, 130 carbs. I dont care to count calories. I do consume a good amount of fat, but its all from EVOO with the tuna and the fat from the grass fed beef, which is a-o-k in my book.

Per some discussions, I was also thinking of adding a protein shake first thing in the morning prior to workout. Thoughts?

I know some would say to up the carbs, but I would rather gain 8-12 completely lean pounds on this cycle rather than 15-20 "dirty" pounds. If I can drop bf that would be great as well.

Anyone have good experience keeping the carbs in check during a cycle while still gaining some good poundage?
 
First you have to decide what you want to do: Gain muscle or lose fat? What's your MAIN goal. I know everyone wants to do both at the same time, but you really need to focus on one or the other.
 
what are those 15g of carbs in your last meal? If anything leave carbs out the last meal.

Gain lean muscle borheim. Im already at 8%. I just dont want to gain an excessive amount of fat. I know some may come with the territory.

what kind of shake is it?? regular whey is like 2-3grams of carbs, the same with casein.

I have some more big blast coming in the mail. It will either be that or my blend of whey/casein mixed with 4oz of oj and 4oz of water. The oj makes it taste less like battery acid.

In a Cleveland from Family Guy voice... "Oh, that's nasty."

I bought some nasty dymatize whey, and that stuff is gross, so I see where you want to add something to make it taste better... maybe some natty peanut butter blended up will work; less carbs and some more protein and good fats.
 
Ill give that a try and see if it works.

All that aside though, anyone have experience with this type of carb consumption during a cycle?

There is more then 55g protein in 16oz of tuna bro i assure you its more like 100g
 
hey bro, im assuming u already know this but...
if u just done acut, u have to add the calories slowly over a couple of weeks so the body adjust itself to more food, and then u wont gain all water and fat back as quickly.

1 gram carb holds 4 g of water or something, it holds water nontheless so....just get used to the idea that u will gain some fat and put on water but u will also gain muscle and depending on what aas u have in the cycle and how youre diet will looke like u get different reactions. u wont have to get bulky like a pig if its spot on.

eat some more protein,medium carbs and medium fat.
maybe something like 40% p 30% c and 30% f and slowly up the cals.
do some hiit sprints 2-3 times a week, whit extra 1 hour cardio over the week and see how u respond. thats my tip.

Ya Ive been slowly ramping up the carbs over the past 2 weeks. Adding an additional 10g per day.

Whoops that was a typo. I meant 10oz.
 
I would at least have a shake pre training if you lift before your first meal. Maybe sip some BCAAs during your workout too. Scivation Xtend green apple ftw.

Looking at this xtend business. Green apple huh? Sounds like something a communist would drink. I may try the watermelon. It has no sugar so this may be a stupid question, but is this shit really sweet?

Yeah it's sweet. Xtend really is an awesome product comrade. I have some watermelon now and it's good too. I use four scoops during my workout.
 
I just ordered some of the Watermelon. 90 servings so this shit better taste and work good, lest you'll receive a strongly worded facsimile from me. Although, if that happens I'll probably sell the stuff to dial tone as he is genetically predisposed to like this particular flavor.
