those pickup books are fairly generic. people use the basic principles every day. the only difference with those books is that they 1) get you out there to actually, actively try, and 2) they might give you a couple of approach tips.

ive only met one guy who knew what he was doing based on learned shit. the rest of them...i naturally destroyed them. but then...i was looking pretty good at the time
