NO!!! Do not go and see this movie!!!! I love horror movies and I can understand how some can be a little bad at times, but this piece of shit was just BAD!!! Weak, overdone plot (college kids on a camping trip) Extremely weak effects, bad make-up, and to top it off they never explained what the fuck was the disease was that was killing everyone....and the ending? oh lord, the ending........again, do not go and see this, don't even rent it when it comes out!!!
What realy sucks is that the previews make it look good as hell!!

Didn't see it, but something related happened this weekend that was probably even more entertaining than the movie itself. One of the local hip-hop radio stations had a dj doing a remote from some movie theater at a mall where they had an early screening. Going with the 'cabin' theme, he had several cases of log-cabin syrup, and was drinking them one at a time. He had already drank four when I tuned in, and the dj's at the station were egging him on to drink a fifth, even though he said he was feeling really nauseous. Well, he started in on the fifth, and then you just heard this awful gurgling and splattering, as he emptied the contents of his stomach right there on the radio. Maybe I'm immature, but I haven't laughed that hard in ages.

I caught Ebert and Roeper reviewing it. They said it was horrible.

Godzilla, what was up with that scene with the little girl doing kung fu and shit? Neither myself, Ebert, or Roeper knew what the fuck was goin on there ...

The part with the Kung Fu thing was this local kid that has some disorder and sits outside of the General Store all day. Well, it is a boy from what I remember and he started to attack one of the college kids with all that karate shit for whatever reason. It made no sense to me either, but with the way the whole movie blew goat nuts, it fit I guess.
