"Nintendo Powerglove" -- There's a technological innovation I had completely forgotten about. Ditto for the "Lotto" brand shoes.

For anyone interested in in feeling what it's like being caught in a minor time warp, listen to XM's 80's radio Station on Sunday afternoons (you can get it free via the web just google "aol radio xm"). They play "Casey's Top 40's" broadcasts from the 80's and it's positively surreal to listen to him talk about what's at the "top of the charts" for some randomly selected week.
