It should kick in pretty quickly. That wouldn't be a good idea. To see if your gear is legit, you want to send it out for testing.

Yeah it seems you’re correct. I’ve done further research. Unless you aren’t already on test it will drive it to the ground. Impossible to tell if already running test as levels will be already suppressed.
My total and free test have both gone up, and assumed this is negative, however just read quite the opposite.

This indicates to me that if it’s already running low from the likes of test etc, it won’t show up in your bloodwork?
I don't think it's debatable at all. When you run a DHT it will drop your SHBG but I think the point Alcatraz was making was: is it a big deal? Because all steroids drop your SHBG to some degree, we never worried about that sort of stuff back in the day.
You should see your numbers crash pretty hard when you take them. They really do work.

It's not that dht derivatives won't reduce your shbg reading. What @the_alcatraz is saying is that it's the wrong methodology to use when trying to determine whether your gear is legitimate or not.
Androgens generally have a suppressive effect on shbg over time. However, individual response, baseline shbg levels, total androgen exposure, injection frequency and time at steady state are all influential factors that can create considerable variation in bloodwork.
If your shbg is already suppressed from testosterone or other compounds, introducing mast/var may not produce a significant additional reduction on bloodwork. That doesn't mean the compound isn't doing anything or that it's illegitimate.
The same principle applies to testosterone levels. You can administer the exact same total weekly milligram dosage and still return two considerably different testosterone readings between blood tests.
Ultimately bloodwork is useful for assessing physiological responses and identifying trends. It isn't a reliable method of determining the authenticity or concentration of your gear.
If you want to establish whether your gear is legitimate and accurately dosed, the gold standard is analytical testing through a validated method such as hplc with an appropriate laboratory like janoshik. Not trying confirm its legitimacy through fluctuations in shbg. Hope this clarifies it for ya bro
