desiccated liver?

I finally bought the book The Strongest Shall Survive and Bill Starr highly recommends consuming liver. What are your thoughts about eating liver?

Also, if it is still considered worthwhile, where can I find a cheap desiccated liver powder? I can only find powdered liver by NOW products on amazon which is fine, but I'd rather not double the amount just for shipping costs.

The liver is the organ of detoxification, ergo, the dirtiest in a mature animal, particularly one coventionally raised. If you want to eat liver, stick to organic, and young animals, like calves liver.
