Wow I really surprised myself at the gym today done 5x5 bench press and managed to hit my last two sets @ 65k 143lbs..was really pleases with myself. Starting to see some amazing definition already and only three weeks into this program ..



Zed have you heard anything from Yorky i ain't heard from her for bout three weeks and pm'd her but got no reply. Hope she's ok.

Check. I think I might need more than just the program a and b that makes up stronglifts.

Have you ever done that program just like it says? If so how'd u like it?

Thank you Jen.!! If I remember rightly the 5x5 are just for compound lifts . When Zed done my routine for me it was varied some 5x5 some different . I did post on my full wks training on one your posts Hun if you don't find it give me a shout I will look for you.
I was so used to my training after years of doing the same stuff my body stopped reacting to it. Now I'm training this way I get all the aches and pains again day after training lol so it's all good!!

Well final day before two days rest here's my work for today

Zed! Heres what i achieved today slight weight increase in pne week .Thur chest and back

Bench press Flat BBL. Increase your weight and go to
5x55k 121lbs

Dips 5x5.

Pull ups 5x5 only managed all today new bar!

Bent over rowfrom floor.4x8 121 lbs

Deadlifts 4x12. 166lbs

Hey jenn, for Donna, the program was worked out for the specifics that she provided for me.

In you case believe me that SL 5x5 would be more then plenty.
I know that just the A and B, and the small number of lifts looks like not much. But sista you give that program an honest go for 12 weeks and you will fall in love with it your first time through.

If Donna asks for my advice for her next phase she will be doing the SL 5x5 with no changes at all.
She will Eat properly, she will do the SL 5x5, she will rest and she will have tremendous results!
And if Donna chooses to go her own way then thats fine too.:D

You really are doing outstanding suga. You just make sure and get plenty of rest and keep your diet up. If you have time take a couple of med paced walks during the week. NOT hard or fast, just med pace.

Thank you I feel great too. Hard works paying off. I walk around three miles per day with my dog & try to get my 8 hours sleep sometimes more if I can. As for the diet I'm still doing 50 30 20 give or take a few cheat meals lol but hey all this hard work builds a good appetite. !

Hey guys ... I decided against the test enth and chose to add test prop to my var/winny cycle as from today 40ml split into 2x 20 ml mon/fri I chose to go test prop as it's faster acting also less water ret and i thought already been 5 weeks into winny/var cycle this would be perfect to add.....so i will week by week keep adding my workouts maybe even pics same as before and hopefully will be some good gains .........Anyone have any thoughts on this ?
