Deadlifters!

i was at 205 and pulled 585 this summer...just keep working hard and it'll come. what's your BF % like and diet?
 
im at about 14% last time I got checked..dont know now its probably the same or lower...diet is fairly clean But im not perfect...I try to keep my protein up...I eat alot of fish cuz I go fishing alot ..no soda ever no other beverage actually except water...maybe a gaotroade everyonce in awhile...protein shakes too...but I am not goin crazy with the diet...I actually can't afford to eat how Id like too.. But I do better than the average american...I train 5 or 6 days a week. my bf is very specific I guess I can say...Lower chest and lower abs is my prblem area...at the end of summer Im gonna start a cutter and try to hit 10%bf...
 
Congrats on the deadlift. I love deadlifting also. I'm just getting ready to push my deadlifts again after focusing on the bench for the summer. I normally deadlift 315 for 5 reps at 5'10" and 150#.

i remember whan i did 160 , boy it felt heavy ,i tried 180 and couldnt move it off the floor !! i got there though and have a recordof 190 x 8 and 500lb1rm , deadlifting rules !!!!!!
190x8 and 500lbs jesus!!!! I can pull 315 for 8 or so and cant even touch 500lbs yet.

Im currently on the 5x5 plan. Deadlifting every Weds. 10lbs added about each weds. Do alot of deadlift work such as pullthroughs, pull off the mats, lockouts, etc.

My sqaut i think has the best turnover with my deads, i sqauted 405 w/ suit the other day. So i can prob get like 370 w/o it.
 
Congrats on the lift. Figure out what tends to be your weakness on deads and tackle that and your dead will shoot up fast. Mine was my grip. After some grip training now it is no problem. Good luck.
