Deadlift Videos

When it comes down to shear motivation there is little to compare to deadlift videos IMO.

The deadlift to me is combonation of raw power, explosion, and hatred all climaxing into one final culminating moment.

My current favorite right now is the tommy Fannon 661. His scream at the end is absolutely legendary. The Warrior call.

I have the video if someone can host it for me.

:)

....................post your favorites!

I like B-Folds 680 and 702 pulls. His prep is inspiring.....:)

I watch those during the couple days before I try for a PR.

one of my personal favorites was actually a video of me pulling 365. at the end of the lift i had to taunt my friend who was training with me and said it wasn't going to budge.

http://www.grambo.org/afa/users/tec/365lol.WMV

ugh that form makes me cringe

a recent favorite is clints SPEED pull of 650 and at the end he says "its about time"

i also like joker dl videos and lord sustons 515

here is my last PR - 405lbs, back last year on 12th September.

A bit ugly, but it was the 2nd time I ever deadlifted heavy
Stiff legged it.
A learning experience for me - I weighed around 190lbs back then. So over double bodyweight at least :)
Done Raw in my BBall shoes and no chalk as well since I didn't know about that stuff back then, and how much chalk helps, grip was slipping a bit :p

yes his prep is very inspiring...motivates me to just hear him psych himself up for a big lift.

i have the needsize 500x9 vid. i watch that for inspiration occasionally.

that is actually really flattering...
I've had to go back to it a few times myself to remind me what my strength was before this contest diet...

I'll try conventional first, then sumo :)

Sumo does feel much safer though for me.

There is a video of my younger brother Kyle, on irongame.net. He's deadlifting 800 at 19 years old weighing 266. It's an awesome video, you guys should check it out. I think he is the youngest person to pull 800.

I just started adding them into my ME Lower rotation. Still feel a little "weird". *LOL* My best so far is 405x3. I think I have a solid 455 in there for sumo, but I want to keep working on form for a while first.:)
Feels like a wide-stance, stiff-legged deadlift right now....*LOL*

thanks for the video comments LOL

i never posted it when i got the pr because i was so mad about my horrible form

i'm so focused on bringing up my deadlift right now...its actually one of my main concerns since a contest isn't on the horizon at the moment

soon hammer and suston will be trying to catch up to ME

i'm on my way to the big 700!! pulled 633 this past may. but kyle gulledge's dead at 800 is truly inspirational!!! tb
