Deadlift & squat

My deadlift has been shooting up lately, but I think it is bringing my squat down. Should I move my training around so that I'm not doing these on back to back days?

I found that once I started regularly squatting and deadlifting fairly heavy, the amount of fatigue one caused was effecting the other even two days apart. Currently I squat on Tuesdays (just now finished), and deadlift on Fridays. This has helped keep them intensity up on both.

welcome to the struggle of weight training

it is all about balancing things out and frankly if you are obsessed with one lift then stick with it which could require you neglecting the other

or you can just mix them up and not obsess over 1 particular lift nonstop

i prefer a balanced approach, but i have run full circle with all this shit over the years.
