Daylight Savings tonight!

My computer changed last Sunday (last years Fall back day).
The government claims that adding a couple of weeks of DST every year will save the Country millions in energy costs. I've never understood the math behind that conclusion.
It don't matter what time the clock says it is - there's still the same amount of daylight.

When you or someone else is being unlawfully assaulted are you not allowed to attempt to stop the attack with whatever physical force that is required, yet not excessive, to stop the attack - up to and including death if you reasonably beleive death will occur if you do take the life of the assaulter?

Possible things that could occur in an attempt to stop the attack might be things such as breaking the assaulter arm, legs, or even stomping his fucking teeth down his throat.

Legally permissible given the right circumstances or not?

I think threats of teeth stomping might be legal in Montana though.
