William 'Refrigerator' Perry visited the dentist for the first time in twenty years and now has a full smile reports AOL Sports. William Perry’s teeth were seriously decayed, with twenty years without going to a dentist and he started getting embarrassed to smile. "It's wonderful,'' he said, "They look great. It's unbelievable. And I love them,'' William Perry said to the Chicago Sun-Times. Since his first visit, he has made several more visits to the dentist and is now pleased with his teeth.

I spent more than 10k on my veneers a couple years back, one of the best decisions I ever made. I had just average teeth before, now I get compliments on my teeth all the time.

My dad spent almost 25 years without going to the dentist and it was no big deal. Always depend on how you take care of it by yourself.

Who could allow their teeth to decay like that? He must of had some deep rooted fear of dentist's. Big sissy!

I really would freak out if anything happened to my teeth!

I had them done by the best dentist around. Most of his time is spent traveling all over the world teaching other dentist how to do things right. He's been the dean of dentistry at a few major universities. I did a bunch of research on him before having it done. My regular dentist actually recommended him.

It is weird for about the first year, you basically have to learn how to speak all over again lol. It takes some time to get use to, but once you've had them in for a few months you don't even notice it anymore. If I went back to my old teeth it would feel odd. You get to pick the color/shade, and it never changes. I remember him saying something about avoiding coffee and staining type things for the first few months, but I didn't pay much attention because I don't smoke or drink coffee.

Yeah that's the route for people who hate dentist. I heard they grind your teeth down to fit the vanier's is that true? That sounds like it would suck. I just had a root canel last year, shit didn't hurt at all. I imagine if you let it go it would hurt like a mofo. You need your teeth, so 20k is a great investment unless you like looking like this.

I can recall ,as a child, my uncle getting new teefers. The dentist did some procedure to "screw in" his new pearly whites. It was the cutting edge procedure back in the day.

Any hoo, he got all drunked up one night and hit a tree doing 70 in his car. Guess what? He was picking up pcs. of his pricey mouth. Sad thing was, he never got the damn things screwed back in afterwards. It was the most disgusting sight to see, all those empty screw holes in his mouth. Gives me shivers still thinking about it now.

Cool, Puddles. I bet you got pretty chompers.

Correct, and the better the dentist the less he has to shave them down generally.

lol awkward

I gave him authorization to use my pics for teaching purposes. He must of taken a good 200 shots throughout the process. Some days I was ready to snap, 8 hours in a dentist chair is way too much! I'll check the website to see if mine are still up...

I got hit in the face with a downhill ski and knocked a top one out, they had to put a 3 unit bridge in (since a front tooth - needs support). Probably in the 5k range, the pain was pretty bad for the procedure I must admit.

Painful? The veneer procedure isn't painful, at least mine wasn't. Only time it hurt was when they took the temps off and that open air hit my teeth and OMFG! When your teeth are shaved down it leaves them exposed and sensitive.

I had a 3-unit bridge with a post, the drilling of the post sucked. Those look nice!
