I just made my 1st batch and left it in the fridge for a couple hours. When I cut it up they broke apart. I have to shovel it onto a plate and eat it with a spoon, but they still tasty.

Its cool bro. what happen was when you were finished mixing them they were still too dry. This happens for a few reasons.

1. I have realized when the ingredients site in the packs they dry out a bit more then when they were placed in the pack.

2. Many brands of honey are not the same. Some are thicker then others so they do not all work the same.

3. smart balance pb which is what I say to use has more oil in it from the added omega fats. This has a effect on how moist the bars come out.

All of this can be fixed and will be added to the recipe on the next batch of bags.

when you are fished mixing them up if they are a little dry and not holding well. Just add a bit of water and they will come out perfect.

I did that on my first batch. This last time when I made 24, I added water and pressed down really firm and they came out great. My problem is I made them with honey, but I decided to start cutting today. Taste delicious though.

I'm currently dieting and I make them with sugar free maple syrup. I am only eating them on my high calorie days and I crave these MFers everyday lol. It's hard to resist.

I did this the first time as well....you get better at making them and they just start tasting better and better :D
