I've been lurking on the women's board for at least a year now, and finally joined the site! Anyway - Daisy - I read your thread about your weight loss of 30 pounds and was very motivated by it. I tweaked your diet to fit my lifestyle, and have had awesome results! I've been maintaining the same stats for about a year and half.... I started your diet on January 5 and lost 8 pounds in month. I am thrilled! I shared the diet with 2 friends, who are also losing the weight. I made a spreadsheet with a 6 day plan, complete with cooking suggestions. If anyone wants to see it, let me know. I, too, follow daisys diet pretty closely. One problem though, there is no possible way for me to have 6 walnut halves... Once I have one almond, you can bet your ass 15 more will follow.

It's not so hard to have 6 walnut halves - when that's all I've packed with my food for the day and there's no option to eat more!! The only thing I've been struggling with is the weekends, because all daily structure goes out the window. I sit on my couch with the kitchen right next to me and try to resist temptation.....

Weekends are my worst enemy, too. I do so well during the week because I have a set schedule for everything. But, come the weekend, and I have no set times to have to be doing things, so my schedule goes right out the window. Plus, if I am out and about doing stuff, there are so many goodies around taunting me. I try to only give into those on one day of the weekend (my cheat day), but it is so hard!!!
 
I'm considering getting some type of appetite suppressant just to take on the weekends to get me through it, it's so tough. But right now, I'm dieting and exercising without any supplements and I like knowing that I'm changing my body permanently all by myself. I don't want to take something, then blow up when I stop...
 
Hey GypsyGrl,

That's exactly the dilema I am in. I really want to see how much I can do without any help from fat burners and things of the sort. But, it's so hard to not try other stuff, too!! I keep reading about all this stuff that works so well, and it makes me want to try it...
