Cycle Advice

bieg

New member
Sorry in advance for the TLDR type post. I have been lurking and studying boards for quite awhile. I took the plunge on this board and sprung for a Platinum membership because it seems the most informative and up to date on latest info.
My background:
I turn 43 this weekend. I am looking to start a cycle at beginning of july. I was an athlete when I was younger playing up to the pro-am level and traveling club teams and the sort. I actually cycled a cpl times in my early twenties. Back then there was not any real information available and of course I had no idea what I was doing. I was more trying to aid in strength for sports then rather than bulking up or anything. Here I am twenty+ years later and I am starting to feel my age. I always worked out but there have been times where life circumstances didn’t allow me: spent a year and a half backpacking Europe, cpl knee surgeries last one in my early thirties, torn rotator cuff that years later I still feel, a hernia that I have under control now, etc. I look like I am in my early 30’s and I am in great shape for my age; my taste in women reflects that. However, even that is catching up with me now as in lower sex drive; I am really starting to feel my age. The last several months I have put my time back in the gym dropping my weight from 195 to 178 and significantly cutting back my BF%. I am scheduled to get my blood work done next week. I am looking at the following tests:
Description: The panel contains the following tests:
-Lipid Profile
-Complete Blood Count w/ Differential
-Estradiol, Sensitive
-Insulin Growth Factor (IGF-1)
-Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
-Testosterone, Free (Direct), Serum With Total Testosterone
-Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)
-Thyroid Profile

Includes: Cholesterol, total; high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol; low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (calculation); triglycerides; very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) cholesterol (calculation); Hematocrit; hemoglobin; mean corpuscular volume (MCV); mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH); mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC); red cell distribution width (RDW); percentage and absolute differential counts; platelet count; red cell count; white blood cell count; Estradiol, Sensitive; IGF-1; A:G ratio; albumin, serum; alkaline phosphatase, serum; ALT (SGPT); AST (SGOT); bilirubin, total; BUN; BUN:creatinine ratio; calcium, serum; carbon dioxide, total; chloride, serum; creatinine, serum; globulin, total; glucose, serum; potassium, serum; protein, total, serum; sodium, serum; Testosterone, Free (Direct), Serum With Total Testosterone; Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA), Serum;Free Thyroxine Index (FTI);Thyroxine (T4); Thyroid Hormone Binding Ratio (T3 Uptake); Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
Any suggestions regarding the blood tests? Anything else I should consider that isn’t listed for someone my age?
Currently my stats are:
Height 6’
Weight 178 (down from 195 in last 9 months)
BF is about 16%
The cycle I am looking at:
Week 1-10 Test E 250 – 500 per week i.e. 250 each mon and thurs
Week 1-10 Aromasin 12.5 eod
Week 2-10 HCG 250 iu e3d
Week 1-10 Finasteride 1 mg ed
PCT
Week 11 HCG 500 iu e3d
Week 12 - 16 Clomid ed 50/50/25/25/25
Week 11 - 16 HCGenerate 5 caps ed
Week 11 - 14 Unleashed and Post Cycle per directions
Week 11-16 Forma Stanzol

Regarding cycle, I am pretty comfortable with except I could use some advice like how soon I should start HCG? PCT any suggestions? What about adding in HGH for 6 months around cycle? Does anyone know if HGH is effective in treating old injuries i.e. I tore my knee up pretty good and even today after I workout (I have to wear a good knee brace) it swells up sometimes with fluid. Any comments, help or suggestions is appreciated. Cheers.

Hey man... i am going to just make a few suggestions on your cycle for you... I really wish you all the best and think its great that you are still working hard after suffering the injuries you have had... I have gone through many injuries as well but just push right through so I have a lot of respect for that...

as far as your test dosage... i think you are fine to go 500mg on your dosage... are you worried about hair loss or have had that happen in the past? Im not real sure the finasteride is necessary unless you are that prone to hair loss or just playing it safe? Your hcg dosage looks good as far as on cycle... however your pct is where i am a bit confused... why are you running it for 5 weeks?? also, your clomid dosage is much too high... there is absolutely no need to go over 25mg... unleashed/post cycle is excellent... forma is also excellent... but I do not think you should be running hcg in your pct... otherwise it looks good...

Thanks for response! Finasteride I added for both the hair loss factor (even though I have lost most of my hair) and for prostate protection (I am 43). Regarding HCG, I was under the assumption that at end of cycle it was good to do a large boost at end. I was planning on two 500 iu in week 11 and then cutting it off. Am I mistaken? Regarding running PCT for five weeks are you specifically referencing the clomid? so a better option would be clomid 25 mg ed for 4 weeks nstarting in week 12? Better to run unleashed/post cycle for only 4 weeks? Any advice on using HGH during cycle? Thanks for input.

prolonging the usage of hcg will limit its effectiveness... 6-8 weeks at the most of usage is all thats needed... there's no need to go over 500 ius a week either...

your pct length should only be 4 weeks... so the pct in its entirety should be 4 weeks in length...

as far as hgh goes, have you done research on it? i have done countless amounts of research on it and the more i find, the more i get deterred from using it... my fear of increasing organ size is the main factor but there are other effects that i have seen others go through that I am not willing to risk... you can add hgh at anytime but i HIGHLY recommend you do THOROUGH research on it and also realize that you need to run it 6 months to a year to get the benefits you can receive from it... my personal recommendation is to stay away from it, but that's completely up to you...
