I'm looking to start toning and I'm looking for some good work out ideas to get that lean rock hard look. I have some ideas of my own but just want to get some new ideas for people that are more experienced than me. I work out atleast 4 times a week sometimes 5 looking for how many reps and sets of each exersize to get the lean look I know diet has a big part so u dont have to tell me that part thanks in advance

Interested in this. Currently trying to do the same. Right now I just lowered the weight a bit, mostly compound exercises.... squats, bench press, deadlift, pullups, dips, lunges, etc( anything that requires decent amount of effort). Pyramid style 3 sets then 4th(heaviest of the day) to failure and shorter rests. Then added moderate cardio everyday. 5-10 minutes on lifting days. 20- 30 on non lifting days. Not going too intense on it so as not to lose muscle just everyday active.

Would love to know if there is something better. Just started this, not sure if it's gonna work, but seems like it should.

You answered your own question. Diet is all that matters. The reps and sets mean nothing.
