on a cutting diet should u still eat yam, sweet potatoes and oatmeal or brown rice...or just stick to green veggies or salads...and if u should eat starchy carbs when should you and how much??

its a vaug question and you will get vague results

do you need carbs in a cutting diet ? yes

how much? depends on the person bdy type etc

please elborate

i guess youre right depends on body type...i guess i would just have to experiment with the carbs and see the results...i know that i feel leaner when i just eat protein and green veggies...but strength goes down..

your body definitely needs complex carbs in a cutter diet.

whether that be a constant source of them or whether it be to carb up, they serve their role...

I typically only consume carbs pre- and post-workout when on a cutter. Maybe a carb-up day once a week if I remember.

I"ll tell ya what works for me: I wake up about 6:00am and eat 4 egg white with one yolk, 1 protein shake with fat free milk, and 1/2 a bagel. Second meal is a protein shake 3 hrs later. Next, 3 hrs later, I usually eat some chicken and a smll amt of carbs like 2 torillas or a littel brown rice. Next meal is a protein shake with no carbs, then workout. After workout, i drink another protein shake with about 50 g of carbs . 1 hr later eat some protein like chicken, steak, fish, beef, and more carbs. then lasst meal of the day is a protein shake with no carbs b4 sleep.
