I just recieved my inzer standard blast shirt, and i have been told by many people to cut the back off, i have no idea how todo this, anyone got any ideas or tips to give me when it comes to doing this.......?

Is it already slit? Sorry, I'm not familiar with that shirt. Also, if it's new, will Inzer cut it for you?

I guess you'd just find the center, mark it with some tailoring chalk along a grid ruler, and cut along the line. That's how I'd do it, anyway. Are you going to ad velcro to the back or anything?

I'm sure one of the more exerienced guys will pop in with a "how to."

Havent done it personally but helped a buddy of mine do his. We just split it down the middle. Start 1 or 2 inches from the top and cut it all the way down. Might be a good idea to reinforce the collar with some extra materal to keep it from ripping out. Run a hem on both sides of the cut as well to keep it from unraveling. Worked for his shirt really well.

who told you to cut the back off a poly shirt?

if you are going to do it for convenience and training, just cut all the way down from top of collar to bottom of shirt.

you can put it on and off easily for your training sets.

if you are going to use an open back shirt for competition, poly is NOT the way to go. An open back works well for denim but not poly.

tell us what your goals are.

Train in the shirrt you are going to compete in....I would not cut a poly up the back
