Guys


Does anyone know what methods they use in the states to screen packages?....I mean small ones?

What makes them think that "thats a suspicious" package?.

Is it just a case of "that looks odd looking" and then andomly open them?

Lost three out of four

coming from the UK and the one that got through should have been snagged also. The bros are right, it's all in the packaging.

UK and US customs have no comparisons. in UK if customs finds AS they will let it through if it is a personal use quantity of 3 months approx. while US wont let through a single amp. secondly if UK customs find out suspicious amount of gear they will send addressee a letter to justify it to them, and if he satisfies them that its for his personal use they will give him back his gear with some tax, making it legal. its nothing like US. thats why gear is cheap in UK.

they feel the package and if it feels like amps or vials then they open it. Also they open and spot check like 1 out of every 10 packs. If your packer is good then the gear won't be visable when they open the package and they can't take it.

When you say it wont be visible...thats hard especially if they empty the contents out...anything oddly tapes etc together will be seen.......
