Customs Question...

I have been tracking my package at the USPS website and I am starting to get worried because it has been processing at customs for a week. Any idea how long it should be before I clean house and expect a letter or a visit? I have ordered from this guy before and they usually clear in a day or two. Just some input on how long it has taken others goods to clear is what Im looking for.

Its coming from India. I had 1000 d bol and 100 amps of infar sus. Any comments as to if that would constitute a controlled delivery? I had heard that the usps website is slow to update and sometimes even wrong. It entered customs the 8th but it didnt show me on the site until the 11th. Kinda strange.

Thats a prety high amount of gear bro. The USPS site is slow with updates but express EMS shipments usually show up on the website fast. They shouldnt stay in customs for that long.
Keep a clean house anyway just in case.
Good luck bro.

yup i agree...it probably wouldn't hurt to sweep the floor dust the furniture...and set the table just in case they decide to stay awhile!:D

RADAR

damn, thats quite a large order from overseas. Def clean your place and your computer as well....If the dbol came up as a hit on the xray, they might think its ectasy. Customs more are after ectasy but if they come upon steroids, they'll go after that too.

i had the same problem with international packages:

"Your item is being processed by United States Customs. No further information is available for this item."

INBOUND INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL, KENNEDY AMC, August 05, 2003, 9:47 pm
FOREIGN INTERNATIONAL DISPATCH, ********, August 03, 2003, 10:34 pm "

mine is still being processed!!!

forget about the package.

You may also want to move your computer to a different location as well if it looks likeanything is going to go down. I have several junk puters around my house that are ready to be hooked up for internet capability that have no history of anything on them besides my kids drawing w/MS paint. :D

Good idea to keep an extra comp around....

I agree with the post from gtrcivic, that sound like a lot to trust to an overseas order. I had my last overseas order confiscated (more than 6 yrs ago) and it was less than yours. Of course it was from pharm that is now know to be flagged. I just didn't know of this site them. Not sure if my case is normal, but all that happened was I received a letter from customs stating that the pkg was detained along with a form to fill out if I could provide a script or medical reson for shipment. I never replied and thakfully neither did they.

My source has always come through even on orders bigger than this. I have read some posts where customs have kept goods for weeks even up to a month and they still came through. It was shipped out the 5th and usually takes 2 full weeks until its in my mailbox so Im just going to stay cool until the 19th I suppose.

You're taking a VERY big risk on this. Clean house.

I just got thru sweeping and mopping. Everythings clean. I just tracked it again and instead of saying that "your item is being processed by United States Customs. Please check again later as it is updated every evening." it now says "your item is being processed by United States Customs. No further information is available for this item."

Anyone know what this might mean or is this normal?

now get this,... instead of saying "your item is being processed by United States Customs. Please check again later as it is updated every evening." or "your item is being processed by United States Customs. No further information is available for this item."

Now it just says "your item is being processed by United States Customs."

It has changed twice. Anyone seen this before please let me know.

i smell customs all over it man. 4 years ago i went through the same thing. finally had to go to the post office to pick up the package. the package was there, my stuff was not. instead it had a letter from us customs saying that it contained stanozolol and they took it. sorry!

Sorry for the delay,....

Never got the package but I did get a letter from US Customs letting me know they got it. It entered Customs on the Aug 8th and the letter was dated the 27th so in some cases maybe it does take Customs weeks to process packages.

You ordered with tracking?

You know that a website which can display tracking information is going to log IP access to it, right? I would wager that they have an audit database tying IP addy to tracking #. Your use of this system could be used to connect you with the package even if you take no affirmative action to accept the delivery.

Let me just go into a little detail here about the level of "anonymity" you have on the internet.

I'm assuming you use an ISP and not a public computer such as at a library or internet cafe. Your ISP keeps track of your connections and what IP address they issue you. When you connect from this machine to the USPS website and say "show me tracking info for package #1234567," it is far more likely than not that USPS is auditing your IP address and connecting it to a request to track package #1234567. This audit trail would be held for a limited time, due to storage constraints. Assuming you were a "big time terrorist" or something like that, law enforcement could get warrants to have your ISP give them your connection traces and get USPS to give them the audit trace for this package. If I were sitting on a jury, this would probably convince me that you owned that package.

For anything that you want to deny ownership of, you must not do shit that connects you to the it. An order placed via email to a foreign party would be beyond the reach of typical US law enforcement, but actions you take subsequent to that must be considered. Given your quantities, it's obvious that you are dealing and this will inherently raise the level of scrutiny you are placed under vis a vis smaller shipments that would be typical of a mere user.
