custom protein blend or Caseinate

For slow absorbing protein to consume through out the day (not post WO), would it be best to make a custom blend, or would regular caseinate protein suffice?

If you guys prefer a custom blend, what do you recommend (ingredients and %'s of blend)?
 
Are you lactose intolerant? If not why not just drink skim milk? Its cheaper and has more beneficial ingrediants. Is a very low GI carb, and milk protien is roughly 80% casienate and 20% whey protien.

Lactose may be low GI, still there are way too many carbs in milk (wheter it's skim or not) when you're not bulking
 
I'm not lactose intollerant but I can't go around drinking big jugs of milk to get 40g of protein each time, 2-3 times per day. That would be some nasty ass gas.

Wow, you take in 120 grams a day from shakes? That seems a bit excessive to me.

Then just carry around a lbs of grilled chicken breast. You can easily eat that in like 30 seconds. And it has over 100g grams of protien.

I get atleast 2, sometimes 3 meals from powder per day. I use the shakes at work in between breaks, like my 2:30 meal, not a scheduled break so I need to chug something quick, wouldn't be able to heat up and chomp on some chicken during that time. Don't tell me to eat it cold either, and it would still take me a lot longer to eat chicken than it would to chug a shake.

Guess we are different then. I can inhale a lbs of cold chicken in under 30 seconds.

I used to do this at work all the time, during my "breaks" which were often interupted 15 minutes in by someone who had a problem I needed to take care of.
 
You could fuck around with diffrent percentages of diffrent proteins in a custom blend.

But I just suck it up and down the pure caseinate. Really its the best for a before bed shake, just the taste sucks.

And whats taste compared to what alot of cats do to there bodys inorder to get big. If your willing to potentially shut down production of what makes you a man to get big, you should be willing to suck it up and drink the chalk once a day. Its good for you.


Also drop a 500mg vitamin c before bed. Thatll keep cortisol at bay.
 
I buy Universal Milk and Egg caseinate protein vanilla flavored, and its OK
I've als obought some other unflavored milk and egg protein that was gross, but I've managed to keep chugging ti down, adding splenda helps it out a lot.
