Critique Me! Before Cycle Pic: 175lbs, 6% bf!

Alright guys heres the deal. I lost 10 lbs due to a serious sickness and I'm finally getting heavy back into the game. It took a year but I'm back! My strength is still there, just lost a little weight. Heres my stats:

6'3"
175lbs :(
6%bf (can't see it due to crappy lighting)
305lb benchpress 8-10 months ago

I've posted quite a few pics up here and I've been gone for awhile, but I'm back. I KNOW I need to add mass and I'm working on that as we speak. I'm upping my cals and protein intake and doing more heavy lifts.

You look good bud! Shredded to the bone with decent size and shape from what I can see. Like you said, keep upping those cals and hiting those heavy compound movements and you'll pack some good mass on that frame :)

Thanks 'Stang, you've usually always been there to criqitue me and I appreciate it. Definantly going to start doing some heavy compounds. What would you suggest, rep-wise? Ex. Bench: 5 sets, 6-5-5-4-4?

I just follow a simple 5x5 routine and I love it. Heavy Bench, squats, Deads ect... If you haven't already, give it a try and see what you think. The basic outline of it is on the training board, pretty straight foward. Good luck bro!

Looking cut man. I'm sure if you eat alot of good food and take in 300 or more grams protein a day that you can bulk up to 200-210lbs at 10% or lower.

Make sure to hit the legs equally hard.
 
man that pic of your forearms with the veins is freaky!! ha ha.. but looking cut as hell bro.. I would definatly do a lot of heavy lifting.. serious eating.. your so cut you can afford to be a little sloppy and not lose a lot.. do some test.. and bam.. there's the size your looking for.. gaining mass and size for me is a breeze.. loosing it is a BITCH... ha ha.. but i'll get there.. good luck man..

Lol typical. You try being an ectomorph all your life, see how easy it is to gain mass then. For some reason I remember plainly asking for people to not be assholes. You can call that just plain skinny, but until you post some pics of you at the same bf with alot more mass, quit talking shit. Who cares if I'm cut? I'm sure girls would prefer a guy with abs than a guy with a belly or handles, wouldn't you agree? I'd rather look cut and healthy than fat and lethargic any day. Thanks for the words bro! I pride myself on my low bodyfat and lifts. I've never even worried about getting any kind of fat. I can eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING and won't gain any fat. Lossing is a breeze for me, but gaining is damn near impossible! Thanks!! K+!

Dude, I'm just being honest. I tell you how it is. I'm not gonna be like all these guys and tell you that you're big and bla bla bla. I told you, you look like a regular skinny joe. You need mass and a lot of it. I am at 8%bodyfat year round. I do agree that being cut is better than having a gut. But why not be cut and have a lot of mass at the same time.
All I'm saying is you need mass, and a lot of it.

You look superb bro, keep at it!

REALLY cut, especially your arms - they look great.

I think that's a great starting point, and for it to be a "before" pic, that's great. A lot of juicers don't look that good.

As others have said, if I were you I'd be looking for a lot more mass, but I sure wouldn't want to lose those cuts. I think a lean bulker would be great for you. With good diet in place and some nice moderate compounds, I think you could stand to gain a good 15-20lbs in a single cycle without having to worry about losing those cuts. Guys that look like you often blow up nicely on gear.

Keep us posted of what you do and how you get on bro.

innocent, mcr, and Whisey - Thanks for the good replies. I've always been really cut and like it that way. I'm going to do some serious bulking soon and am hoping to pu on a good 20lbs. Going to get the diet perfect amongst other things and see how well it goes!

detroit - Thats exactly what I'm saying. I hate people who talk shit about others and then aren't willing to show themselves or tell us to 'hold on for a few months.' I never said i was in top shape, a mass monster, or anything even like that. Simply wanted some positive criticizm.

Its not like someone is insulting your mom bro. By any chance do you get in a lot of altercations in real life?

Anyways, I personally don't care if people bulk up or stay more slender and cut. Not everybody wants to be or HAS to be some 250lb mass monster. If they feel they look good then that's what is most important, not what someone else wants them to be.

Ripper I completely agree with you. 30lbs would look great on my frame but I've eaten up to the high 4k cals with 300g's prot and didn't gain much weight. It's hard to have that much time to eat even! No one has ever mentioned my wrist by the way. And yes, in my younger years I was - havn't done that in a awhile, nor even thought about it! Paulo I've seen you on my threads alot if I remember correctly. Until yomamma posts me a current picture he has no reason to be an asshole. He is even embarrased of showing himself now, yet thinks he shoudl rip on me. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONSTRUCTIVE, POSITIVE CRITICIZM AND WHAT HE SAID (not meaning to sound like an ass). It looks like you train hard and eat right or your just one of those guys that can workout twice a week and be ripped cause you're "an ectomorph". I won't bullshit you; I'm 220 @ 14% right now so I can't say I look "better" than you. But I kinda stand with vomama, you look thin. For all the guys I know that train hard, no one stays lower 9%; so they can keep strength up. The young girls may like an eight pack but most women are cool with a thick six. Eat and train bro, you'll look better with 20 pounds on your frame even if its at 10%. Just my opinion.
 
you bf is perfect, just need some mass. i know its hard for guys like you to be huge, just as it is hard me to be lean. once i get to being somewhat lean, maintaining it is almost impossible for more then a few weeks. just go on the "see food diet" any food you see, you eat. good luck. post the after cycle pics too!
 
Red Wing Fan - I totally agree with you. If I could gain bf I would sacrifice it for some mass. I'm an ectomorph (Naturally skinny, low bodyfat, high metabolism). You speak of a mesomorph (naturally muscular, rather low bodyfat, mid-metabolism). I wish I were mesophormic! I don't watch what I eat either, just eat anything and everything and make sure i get the needed cals. K

yommama need to post a pic if hes at 8%..sounds to me like he at a higher bf% and in a couple months he wants to be a 8...shouldnt have a thing to hide bro

I had my bd test 2months ago last time at my gym by a personal trainer. I'm telling you what the guy told me, that's what my body fat was at the time.
 
look good i thought you were going to have much less mass then that at 6ft3 but i guess you do really have a low bf% most say 6 and its 10 when people say 10 its probably 15%

you need to find ways to increase your caloric intake.. im a 'skinny' guy too not because of metabolism but just because i am very very active

what helped me add a lot of quality mass was turkey and or roast beef sandwiches on wheat bread and wheat bread dipped in olive oil (with some spices)

using the sandwiches i was able to get down around 8+ meals a day and then i would have my wheat/olive oil snack 1-2x a day and it really really helped out

trying getting around 4k in cals and see how that treats you.. it should be easy to judge your progress at such a low bf%

Yomamma was a little to direct at first but I do believe he eased up and did not really mean to slam you. At 6'3" you are kind of thin at 175 . No disrespect, at 5 foot 8" I am short and run 190lb. I know for your type it is hard to gain weight being so tall makes it harder. Stick with the compound movements and get the cals however you can. You have a good base to work with. Burying the hatchet with yomamma shows a good level of maturity. Peace

lol me and him have been going back and fourth but everything is cool now. Lol I put pictures of myself up here all the time and deal with negative shit all the time. But in my original post i specifically asked for people not to be assholes. You can give me negative feedback without being an asshole. Simple as that. I stated it plain as day because people always come on here ripping on me and cant back their talk. It always turns into a flame fest and I guess considering he's been the only person that was an asshole (but is cool with me now) I guess I'm lucky.

i look good at 150 lbs... :) no really, i do. im dropping a camera off tonight for some pics and i'll scan em. really.. i look good. :) really. at least i think so. :) :)
 
Hey khemix, Obviously you have a metabolism that runs on jet fuel lol. Don't think of it as a crux for size. All it means is you haveto be SERIOUS about eating ALOT. EAt 8x a day. Bring in 50 or more grams protein per meal. Pull in about 75 carbs per meal and 25 grams fat per meal and I guarantee you will put on mass.

That would equal out to:

400 protein
600 carbs
200 fat.

Total daily cals=5,800

BAM! You will put on weight. I would even suggest you go with the old school bodybuilding style of bulking up.

Try to eat 2lbs lean beef a day, drink a gallon 1% milk, eat 12 eggs, drink protein shakes mixed with ice cream and yogurt etc.

That will pack the mass on you and I don't think you would get fat. With your metabolism as long as you lift hard and heavy, and aim to constantly increase your weights you will build mass. Alot of guy's think they can't gain well until they realize that it's all about the food intake! That's it. Very simple. You have to EAT A SHITLOAD.

Combine that with a properly planned AAS cycle and proper pct and you will blow up and have the time of your life probably.

Hope this helps man.

It can be a pain in the ass, but you'll gain.

thanks for the email man... looks good. you look like me almost, but im 5 7" and 150lbs. my legs are super skinny, but my arms quite a bit bigger than yours. we both need a little chest and if you put on some shoulders and arms you'd be gangster...
whats ur cycle experience ?
 
Well I've done 2 previous cycles, but have lost alot of weight due to illness and depression. First cycle was Test Cyp 400mg/wk 10 wks and Dbol 20mg/ed 2.5 wks. Second was Test E at 500mg/wk 1-10wks and Tren 75mg/eod 1-8 wks. Being tall is a bitch but if I can fill it out I'll be a big bastard atleast!
