creatine and cranberry juice

Hello all,

I was thinking to take creatine with camberry juice , most of the people I know use other juices. Both creatine and some of the cranberry actives are processed via the kidneys right?

It is perfectly safe to take creatine with cranberry juice.

Neither creatine or cranberry juice are processed via the kidneys. All food is passed through your mouth, into your stomach and then into your small intestine, which is where it is absorbed. Some of the natural components in cranberry juice can help detox your kidneys but the kidneys do not process any of the food you eat.

Same with creatine. There use to be myths that creatine will dehydrate you and dehydration is very hard on the kidneys as kidneys regulate your urine output and water levels in the body. However, that myth is completely incorrect.

Creatine is perfectly safe if your dosage is sensible. Supplement with 5-10g per day. There is no need to cycle or load creatine.

To be honest, there is no difference with what kind of juice you take your creatine. This is more bro-science

It is perfectly fine to take your creatine with any juice, or other drinks as long as they are not extremely hot. After all, both things will get digested by the stomach, so in any case you would end up getting your creatine absorbed.

Creatine can be taken with any beverage. I personally prefer Ancient Strength because they are tabs instead of powder. It also makes it easy to get a creatine without added crap to the powder.
