Creatine a carcinogen???

I have heard all this talk lately (going around my gym as a result of some of them attending the national fitness expo at which this topic was apparently raised), that creatine has been linked with cancer, and at the moment there are steps being taken to get creatine banned and off the shelves!!?? What the hell is all this? Has anyone heard anything like this? I damn well hope that there is no merit in what they are saying! Please tell me it's not true...
