Crazy Idea...I think?

As I was walikng around Walmart the other day I come up with a crazy idea. I thought about PM'in this to Need2 cuz I hear he's the man in the kitchen, but I figured I'd throw it out there for everybody to give me some feedback.

Heres my idea: Meatballs or Meatloaf

Use lean beef 96/4 or ground turkey (may be too dry)

Use Egg white "Egg Beaters"

and heres the kicker: Use unflavored Whey instead of bread crumbs.

Then of course you would use the spices of your choice, etc.

Anyone ever heard of this or tried it? The egg and protein is just to help them stick together so it wouldnt take much..

Lets hear it.

dont know how thjat would work. i have used whole grain bread (not bread crumbs) and i use oats all the time and that works perfectly.

when i tryed unflavoured whey it tasted disgusting and i tryed mixing it in with porridge and it ruined it, just sayin...

Thanks for the feedback...guess I'll just stick the protein shake shots out of my wifes belly button!!LMAO..

just about anything I make, I consider how I can incorporate protein in it. How to alleviate the extra powder. If it requires an unflavored protein, yeah you can taste it but that the price for the sacrifice.

whay add protein to meat loaf. its all protein. you have to add the veggies and the grains, not protein. this is what makes meat loaf a great meal. try shredding up ezekiel bread and mixing that in.

My mom makes me crispy chicken made with oats. yummy!
