I'm watching Unwrapped on the Food channel, so now I want buffalo wings, now pretzels, chips & salsa......cheese & crackers!!

Also bought some smoked salmon at Trader Joes' so I also want a bagel + cream cheese + lox

I'm dyin' here....

Actually last night I was sitting infront of a table that was only full of deserts . watching everyone eating and I had cup coffee with nondairy powdered milk

same situation today in addition to appetizers, dinner, and then deserts

LOL ... with this flu/whatever else I have, my taste buds are SHOT. My huibby is fighting a cold, and I bought him some chocolate ice cream. I took a bite of it and ALL I tasted was BITTER. It was AWFUL. It was like the only tastebuds that are working are the bitter ones. I tasted NONE of the sweetness. It was incredible. And needless to say, helped me NOT eat any of it!

Currently, NO cravings, since I can't taste or smell.

I was assuming you said you can't cuz your parents hoard the desserts they bring over to eat in the middle of the night or something....

All this talk about cravings and having lack of a sniffer gave me an idea. Next time the kids are eating something that smells reallllly good and fragrant, i'm going into the bathroom and rubbing "Mentholatum Ointment" all over my nose....then that's all i will smell.

You definitely need to stop watching the food chanel. I LOVE the food chanel, but it does nothing but make me hungry for things I cant have. Try watching the travel chanel or something. Better yet, turn it off completely.
